BKS to Feature U16, U15, and U14 Split and Full Season Teams

BOSTON, MA -- The BEAST Tournament Series (BEAST) is pleased to announce the addition of the Bishop Kearney Selects for the upcoming 2020-21 season. BK Selects will compete in both the split and full season divisions at the U16, U15, and U14 levels this upcoming year, and then will add a U18 program starting in the 2021-22 season.

"The Beast has quickly become the top Bantam and Midget showcase league in North America," said BK Selects hockey director Chris Collins. "The competitive nature of the games coupled with top-notch exposure from junior, college, and professional organizations, is something we are excited for our players to have access to. We are extremely enthused for our BK Selects Hockey Program to be a part of this great league."

Bishop Kearney School is a private, Roman Catholic school that is nationally recognized for providing a quality college preparatory program in a family environment.  Located in Irondequoit, NY, the co-ed school has a yearly enrollment of approximately 390 students.  It boasts a student run television station, brand new state of the art dormitories for the BK Selects boy’s players and Selects Academy girl’s players, located on a picturesque 42-acre campus near the shores of Lake Ontario. This past year, Bishop Kearney graduates received over $8 Million in scholarship funds from 60 of the most selective colleges and universities in the country.

With their extremely competitive 55-65 game schedule, off-ice training, skill development sessions, utilization of analytic software and professionally run practices, the BK Selects consider themselves one of the premier places for ambitious, young hockey players aged 14-17 to develop in North America.  To further reinforce the program's commitment to player development, they are excited to announce that Nate VanKouwenberg and Next Level Strength & Conditioning will be running the off-ice training throughout the season. For further information, please contact Fred Tillinghast, Director of Enrollment Management, at 585-342-4000 ext. 246 or ftillinghast@bkhs.org.
