No rest for the weary as the Beast Tournament Series is right back in action this week with the Yale Jr Bulldogs Jamboree.

Action begins on Friday, September 20th, with games through Sunday, September 22. Numerous Connecticut rinks will host games, with the bulk of the action at Newington Arena, Northford Ice Pavilion, Hamden's Louis Astorino Arena, East Haven Veterans Memorial Ice Rink, and the Edward L. Bennett Rink in West Haven. Prep School rinks at Avon Old Farms and Choate will also host action, as well as the Martire Family Arena at Sacred Heart.

One program with a busy weekend on tap is Mid-Fairfield National, with three games. How is the team looking at the task at hand?

"Our mindset is to focus on us," said Mid-Fairfield coach Chris Gragnano. "We want to continue to get better, and establish consistency."

Mid-Fairfield's two games on Saturday are against a pair of teams new to the Beast League this year in the Holy Name Bears (2:30pm, Northford) and Central Mass. Penguins (9:10pm, Northford). Despite the unfamiliar foes, Mid-Fairfield will go into the game like any other.

"Our preparation doesn't change," Gragnano said. "The competition is always great and we get everyone's best so our focus is on our game and being our best."
