Seacoast Performance Academy, the Long Island Gulls and Neponset River Rats drew the top three seeds for this weekend’s Beast League U15 playoffs.
The Quarterfinals will be held on Saturday October 19 at Cadillac Arena in Walpole as well as New England Sports Village in Attleboro.
Six other U15 programs will vie for a title in the Gold Division, which will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Canton Ice House.

Top-seeded Seacoast Performance Academy will be taking on the #8 Springfield Thunderbirds Saturday morning at 11:50am at the New England Sports Village in the quarterfinal round. Some key players to keep your eye on are forwards Matys St. Gelais (20 pts), Declan Wotton (18 pts), Luca Desjardins (17 pts) and Caine Bickel (13 pts). On the blue line Leland Dulac (18 pts), Jacob Turcotte, Bruce Liptak and Noah Mazzola have all been solid. Troy Hamelin will be a player to watch for the Thunderbirds.
The #2 seeded Long Island Gulls will be battling up against #7 Boston Hockey Academy Prep Saturday at 12:00 pm at the New England Sports Village. Forwards Dylan Sampair, Gilbert Sudaley, Watson Prier and Giacomo Del Priore will be key up front and in goal the Gulls have Maddox Franks and Matthew Schreier, both who have been solid this season. Rui Chen has been an offensive leader for BHA Prep.
The #3 Neponset River Rats are ready to compete in their quarterfinal match against #6 East Coast Militia Saturday at 11:50 at Cadillac Arena in Walpole. The two teams have met twice already this year, with each side winning once setting up a very exciting game from two hard working clubs.
Joe Covelluzzi, Brayden White and Chase Warsofsky are players to watch for the Rats. For the Militia, Jack Cannon and Patrick O'Reilly will look to have big weekends.
Another team that is coming in ready to compete in this year’s playoffs is the Yale Jr. Bulldogs who drew the #4 seed and they will take on #5 Boston Hockey Academy Saturday at 12:10 pm at Walpole. Be on the look out for forwards Zachary Zusman, Dante Garea, Avery Fixman, Peter Royer, Alex Marottolo, Nathan Cook and Ryan Holmes who have all been key this season.
